At the end of the summer we went on a little Spanish holiday. First to Barcelona to visit some good friends, and then onto Mallorca for a beach getaway. It was actually our first time at the beach this entire year since the closest beach to Nuremberg is at least 7 hours away.

Andrew and I traveled to London for a little weekend getaway about a month ago.  I had to go to London for a meeting for one day, so luckily were able to make a long weekend out of it!  We have both been to London separately for work trips, but this was our first time visiting the city together... which of course makes it soo much different :)

I will admit... this blog post will look like all we did in London was eat and drink, and that is partially true. But like I've said before... I find the best way to get to know a new city, it to experience all of the local flavors... and we took that very seriously!

Andrew and I travelled to Berlin Easter weekend which also coincided with Andrew's Birthday! (April 2nd). The great thing about Germany is we get off the Friday before and the Monday after Easter, which makes for a perfect little birthday getaway. I also have to add in, we just happened to time it PERFECTLY and we bought and picked up our new VW Golf only days before this trip.

Only a few days after our perfectly amazing wedding this past June, we were on our way to Rome to start our Honeymoon.

Andrew and I have never traveled to Europe together, so you could imagine the excitement! We just wanted to see/taste/smell everything! We definitely got our fill in gelato (sometimes twice a day!), as well as red wine. We would try to walk everywhere, because the walk was usually just as beautiful as wherever we were heading.
